Regular Season Round 7: KoGas - Suwon KT 82-74

An interesting game forKoGas (6-1) which hosted in Inchon 4th placed Sonicboom (4-3). First ranked KoGas managed to get a 8-point victory 82-74 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sonicboom. Strangely Suwon KT outrebounded KoGas 39-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Filipino guard Samjosef Belangel (177-1999) accounted for 12 points and 8 assists for the winning side. KoGas' coach Yoo Hoon used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Rayshaun Hammonds (206-1998, college: Georgia) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the former international center Yungi Ha (203-1999) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Suwon KT in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KoGas have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-1 record. Loser Sonicboom keeps the fourth position with three games lost. They share it with Mobis Phoebus.
